A tether casino lets you play with a coin that stays close to one US dollar, which is the main reason people pick USDT over Bitcoin. The balance you deposit is still worth roughly what you deposited when you cash out. Five of the ten casinos on our scorecard name USDT. This page ranks them in our order, compares what each does with Tether specifically, and covers the network choice that trips up most newcomers.

Not every crypto casino fits. CasinOK takes USDC but does not list USDT, Betpanda and WSM Casino name only Bitcoin, 7Bit Casino names no stablecoin, and BC.Game publishes no coin list, so none of them is below. The complete ranking is on the home page.

BC.Game, with 8.2 on our criteria, is placed last across the site: it told us it does not accept players from Australia. Some sites below were also unreachable on our Australian connection, which fits with ACMA blocking. Our legal guide explains where the law stands.

Tether casino sites ranked by our score

Vave

Vave is the highest-ranked Tether site, and USDT is built into how it prices things: the minimum deposit is 20 USDT and the weekly reload is 50% up to 150 USDT plus 100 free spins. The welcome package is 325% up to 4 BTC over four deposits at 35x to 50x wagering. Payouts for non-Bitcoin coins land in under an hour, with a $50,000 cap per transaction. Vave has no licence published and no AUD support. Our Vave review covers the rest.

Crypto-Games

Crypto-Games prices its welcome ceiling in Tether: 200% up to 20,000 USDT over three deposits, one of the largest ceilings in our data, at 25x to 40x wagering. It accepts both USDT and USDC, alongside BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, SOL, TRX and XRP. Payouts take 15 to 60 minutes and the minimum withdrawal is $50. The first deposit floor is as low as A$1-2 to $15. We could not verify its Costa Rica registration. The Crypto-Games review has the detail.

  • No AUD support

Verdict Quick payouts, a huge welcome ceiling and weekly rakeback make it a strong crypto-native pick, though its offshore licence is unverified.

Metaspins

Metaspins is the only brand that lets you pick the bonus currency: its first-deposit bonus is 100% up to 1 BTC or 2,500 USDT, at 40x, claimed within 60 days. Taking the USDT side removes price swings from the bonus calculation. Rakeback of up to 120% and daily lootboxes follow. Payout speed is quoted for Bitcoin, under an hour with no fees. Identity checks may come before a payout. Read the Metaspins review.

Verdict Best for regulars who want rakeback and daily drops; the welcome bonus is modest next to the top three.

MyStake

MyStake names USDT in a seven-coin list with BTC, ETH, XRP, BCH, XMR and DASH, and adds PayID and cards, which suits a player who tops up with fiat sometimes and crypto at others. MyStake’s welcome match runs to $1,500 or A$3,000, with 30x wagering and a 30-day limit. Deposits and withdrawals both start at $20. Nobody publishes how long a payout takes, which is the main reason it sits mid-table. See the MyStake review.

  • Curaçao licence since 2020

Cons

  • Crypto list is short: 7 coins in one reference
  • Payout speed is not published
  • $20 minimum deposit and $20 minimum withdrawal

Verdict A mature Curaçao brand with a large library and fiat options, but nobody publishes its payout speed, which keeps it mid-table.

BitStarz

BitStarz takes USDT and USDC among 12 coins and offers provably fair titles. The entry price is the highest of the group, A$40 to deposit and A$50 to withdraw, but the payout record is strong: 37 minutes in our Solana test, with most approvals said to take about three minutes. The welcome package has 180 free spins, 40x wagering and a seven-day clock. Details in the BitStarz review.

  • No sportsbook
  • A$40 minimum deposit and A$50 minimum withdrawal
  • Bonus unlocks over four deposits with 7 days to clear

Verdict A veteran since 2014 with quick tested cashouts, but a smaller catalogue and no sportsbook.

Choosing a USDT TRC20 casino network

Players who ask for TRC20 casinos are really asking for a cheap network. The same USDT exists on several blockchains, and the label you see (TRC20 on Tron, ERC20 on Ethereum, and others) tells the casino which chain your transfer travels on. Fees and speed depend on the chain, not on the casino. Our sources do not say which networks the five casinos above accept, so we will not guess; the cashier will show the options once you select USDT.

What we can tell you is how to avoid the usual mistake:

  1. Choose USDT in the cashier and write down the network label it shows.
  2. Withdraw from your exchange on exactly that network. A mismatched network can strand the funds.
  3. Send a small test amount and wait until it is credited.
  4. For withdrawals, give the casino an address on a network your wallet supports and check it twice.

Our crypto wallets guide has the longer walk-through, including which Australian exchanges must be registered with AUSTRAC.

Illustration of Tether (USDT) stablecoins

Why stablecoin bonuses are easier to judge

Bonuses are where USDT earns its place. A 35x requirement on a Bitcoin bonus is a moving target because the coin can move 5% while you are wagering. When the bonus and the wagering are in a dollar-pegged coin, the arithmetic holds: a 100 USDT bonus at 30x needs 3,000 USDT of turnover, and your starting balance is not eroded by the market. Crypto-Games, Metaspins and Vave are the three where the bonus or the minimum is actually denominated in USDT.

Wagering still decides how much of a bonus you can keep. Our ranking of the multiples: Crypto-Games 25x to 40x, MyStake 30x, Vave 35x to 50x, Metaspins and BitStarz 40x. The crypto casino bonuses page covers the full terms and has a calculator.

USDT withdrawals, limits and cashing out

Deposits are the easy half. For withdrawals the published figures are: Vave up to $50,000 per transaction with network fees only, Crypto-Games from a $50 minimum, MyStake from $20 and BitStarz from A$50. Metaspins promises Bitcoin within the hour at no fee but does not publish a USDT-specific time. Because USDT holds its value, the amount that arrives is close to the amount you requested, which makes it the easiest coin to plan a cashout around.

Getting from USDT back to Australian dollars happens at an exchange. That conversion is a disposal in the ATO’s terms and is valued in AUD using the Reserve Bank rate, so note the date. Gambling winnings themselves are not assessable for a recreational player, but the ATO’s capital gains rules for the crypto asset still apply to the swap.

Which Tether casino suits which player

  • Biggest welcome ceiling: Crypto-Games, 20,000 USDT over three deposits.
  • Best for regular reloads: Vave, with the weekly 50% up to 150 USDT.
  • Choose BTC or USDT for the bonus: Metaspins, with 40x either way.
  • Fiat and crypto in one account: MyStake, with PayID and cards listed.
  • Fast payout record: BitStarz, though it asks A$40 to start.

For an anonymity-first pick, our no-KYC ranking sorts all ten brands by verification rules, which matters more with a stablecoin that moves large sums.

USDT minimums and verification at a glance

Vave asks 20 USDT to start, Crypto-Games from roughly A$1-2 to $15, MyStake $20 and BitStarz A$40. Metaspins publishes no minimum figure. On verification, Crypto-Games asks nothing at sign-up and may check large withdrawals, Vave shows a no-KYC badge but can request a selfie with ID or a call, Metaspins can request identity checks before a payout, and BitStarz applies verification at its discretion. MyStake does not state its rule, so assume it can ask.

A stablecoin does not remove these rules. It only removes price risk, and even that only while the peg holds. If you plan to move several thousand dollars, expect questions and keep your documents ready, and read the terms on payout approval before you deposit.

Risks at a Tether casino

A stablecoin is not risk-free, and a casino balance is not a bank balance. Its peg depends on the issuer, which can be frozen, delisted or lose the peg for a time. Crypto in general carries platform risk, and the Department of Infrastructure warns that customers of illegal gambling services sometimes have deposits that are never returned. Keep only what you will play with on the casino, and move the rest to a wallet you control.

Two further points specific to Tether. Casinos that list USDC separately, like CasinOK, may treat the two stablecoins differently, so never send USDT to a USDC address. And stablecoins still count as crypto assets for tax: the ATO says converting, swapping or spending a crypto asset is a capital gains event valued in Australian dollars. Each leg of a trade into or out of USDT may need recording.

Australian law in brief

It is an offence to offer pokies and casino games to people in Australia, and the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 applies that to offshore operators as well. A company can be fined up to $1.8 million per day. The Act targets the operator, so you are not the one prosecuted, but Australian regulators will not help with a dispute. Licensed wagering providers have not been allowed to take cryptocurrency since 2024, so USDT play happens at offshore sites.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Tether casino?

A Tether casino is a crypto casino that accepts USDT, a stablecoin issued to track the US dollar. You deposit and play in a coin whose price stays near one US dollar, so a bonus or balance does not swing with the crypto market the way Bitcoin does.

Which USDT network should I choose, TRC20 or ERC20?

The network must match on both sides: the one your wallet or exchange sends on and the one the casino cashier offers. None of our sources states which networks each casino supports, so read the network label in the cashier before you copy an address, and send a small test first.

Which casinos on your list accept USDT?

Vave, Crypto-Games, Metaspins, MyStake and BitStarz name USDT. CasinOK lists USDC instead of USDT. Betpanda and WSM Casino name only Bitcoin, 7Bit Casino names no stablecoin, and BC.Game publishes no coin list.

Are stablecoin casinos legal for Australians?

Offering online casino games to people in Australia is an offence for the operator under the Interactive Gambling Act, and the ACMA asks providers to block those sites. The Act targets providers, not customers, but you have little recourse if a site withholds funds.

Is USDT taxed in Australia?

The ATO treats gambling winnings as non-assessable for a recreational player. It also treats converting, swapping or spending a crypto asset as a capital gains event, valued in Australian dollars, and a stablecoin is still a crypto asset. Ask the ATO or a registered tax professional about your own case.
